Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

Below are the cards we made at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack yesterday.  I will be adding dimensions.

This is a slightly modified case that Tamara Bertram created.  Below are the dimensions.
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Whisper White
4" x 5 1/4" Real Red
3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White
The tree, ornament, and star were punched on Whisper White and then were punched out with the 1" square.  Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped with Real Red.  Finally, rhinestones were added to give the card a little bling.

This card was originally created by Julie Gearinger.  The only thing I changed was the berries (and maybe the size of the paper).  I used pearls with red and purple permanent marker to create a Cherry Cobbler color.  The dimensions are listed below.

My Brother's Birthday

 Wednesday is my younger brother's 40th birthday.  He is an avid sportsman, so I had to put wildlife on his card.  It is a modified CASE of a card created by Jean Hall.  Originally, it had grass from the Wetlands stamp but I don't have that set.  I used the retired set, Autumn Days, instead.  The deer is from Remembering Christmas.

Too Kind Birthday Card

This card was created using the two-step stamp set, Too Kind.  It is such a simple and cheerful birthday card.  The colors used were Crisp Cantaloup,  Calypso Coral, and Pistachio Pudding. 

DSP Oragami Card

This is an elegant but simple card made with DSP.  All (All's) you need is a 4" piece of DSP and a square for the inside that is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".  We used the Daydream Medallion stamp set for the stamping.

New Thinlit Card Die

Last night, I was experimenting with the new Thinlit Card die.  It makes a card in seconds!  The card pictured below has an added piece of card stock to make an extra fold so there is more room for writing inside.  You can add extra card stock two different ways.  One way is to cut the paper 5 1/2" x 9 1/2" instead of 5 1/2" x 6" and not run the card stock all the way through the Big Shot so it doesn't cut the one side.  The second (easier) way to do it is cut an extra piece of card stock that is 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", glue it to the back of the card stock, and fold it into the card.

 I'm not sure about the color combination - I was using colors that I normally don't mix.  Maybe it is a good thing I don't normally mix those colors!

DSP Colors

Do you have any retired Designer Series Paper and are wondering what colors are in the paper?  I'm always wondering!  Beginning this year, Stampin' Up! added the colors on the back sheet of cardboard but that wasn't always the case.  Well, your worries are over!  Amy Phelps, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, compiled a list of all past and present DSP.  Click on this link or the image above to open the PDF that includes all of the paper and colors.  Thank you Amy!

Wishing You

This is another Christmas card we made at my Getting Reading for Christmas card class.  Doesn't it pop with the designer paper?  It was so simple to make.  The DSP is from the Season of Style Designer Series paper pack and the stamps are from the new set, Wishing You.  The set also includes a saying for the inside of the card and a little gift stamp for the envelope.  The presents were inked with Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, and Crumb Cake markers.
