Flower Pot Card

This is one of the cards we did at a workshop tonight.  I promised the ladies that I would post a picture of cutting out the pot.

First cut an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock on the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4".  Then score at 5 1/2" and fold.  Put the end that is not folded at the top of the paper cutter and line it up at 3/8".  Line up the folded side at 1" to the right side of the blade and cut.

Turn the paper over and cut the other side.

Score one end at 1 1/4" and fold over.  It is hard to see, but I used the scallop edge punch on the scored edge of the flower pot.  I also sponged crumb cake around the pot.

We used the stamp set, Mixed Bunch and the new Blossom punch to create the flower and the leaves.  The colors used were Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, So Saffron and Always Artichoke.
